Day 1: Cochin to Munnar (140 km / 4 Hours)

Day 2: Munnar Exploration

As the morning sun graces the landscape, awaken in your hotel/resort to a refreshing day. After a hearty breakfast, set out on a full day of sightseeing, exploring Munnar’s captivating landmarks.

 

The day’s highlights include visits to Mattuppetty, Echo Point, Gundala Lake, Photo Point, Elephant Arrival Spot, Cinema Shooting locations, and more. Your journey also takes you to the Eravikulam National Park, where the rare Nilgiri Tahr and diverse wildlife await. Anaimudi Peak, the highest peak in South India, along with Tata Tea Museum, International Blossom (Hydel) Park, spice plantations, and other enchanting spots are on the agenda. The day ends with a comfortable overnight stay in Munnar.

 

Day 3: Munnar to Thekkady (110 km / 3 Hours)

After breakfast at your Munnar accommodation, pack your bags and check out. Your next destination is the captivating town of Thekkady, where a host of activities await.

 

Upon your arrival, settle into your chosen hotel or resort and take a moment to relax. Engage in a rustic tour to one of Thekkady’s tribal hamlets, followed by a visit to a plantation. Enjoy an evening boat ride through the scenic national park. Post-boat ride, indulge in local shopping and savor the authentic flavors of Thekkady. Day 4: Thekkady to Alleppey (Drive: 160 km / 4 Hours)

After breakfast at your Thekkady accommodation, it’s time to bid adieu and head to Alleppey, famously known as the ‘Backwater Capital’ and ‘Venice of the East.’ Upon arrival, check in to a houseboat and delight in a serene journey through the picturesque backwaters. Traverse coconut lagoons, paddy fields, and coir villages while relishing the houseboat’s amenities. An unforgettable overnight stay awaits onboard.

 

Day 5: Alleppey to Cochin (90 km / 2 Hours); End of Tour
